With the Met Office no longer providing legal weather reports and WeatherNet now an authorised supplier of Met Office weather data due to a recent agreed partnership with Met Office Inside, our legal weather reports for personal injury claims and road traffic accidents etc. have become increasingly valuable to our legal clients.
Legal (CPR) Weather Reports & Certified Witness Statements
WeatherNet provides independent and authoritative historical weather data in a clear, concise and easily understood Legal (CPR) Weather Report or as a Certified Witness Statement. These legal reports are written in a format so they can be used via permission of the court as evidence if required.
Regardless if the legal weather report is for a road traffic accident or a personal injury claim etc., each legal weather report or certified witness statement will show daily and hourly weather evaluations, details of meteorological/rainfall stations utilised, interpretation, conclusions, qualifications of the author, experts declaration and statement of truth. Additionally, the legal weather reports may contain anecdotal (press cutting) information, lightning maps, rainfall radar, return periods, synoptic meteorological charts and information on sunrise/sunset times.
This information complies with civil and criminal court requirements (CPR Part 33 and/or Part 35) and the Jackson reforms that our clients can trust and rely on.
WeatherNet has access to historical weather data from a wide range of different meteorological sources, including our own exclusive network of urban based meteorological stations.
To date, WeatherNet have prepared in excess of 2500 related legal weather reports since 1997 for the legal industry.
In the last 25 years, WeatherNet has provided weather-related reports for the following legal cases:
