WeatherNet was established in 1995 and supplies weather data, applications and insights. We are a subsidiary of Synergy Cloud, the data and technology company owned by Claims Consortium Group.

It’s all in the name

WeatherNet’s name is derived from the weather station network that it maintains in and around the UK’s towns and cities which provides unique urban coverage. Over the last decade this has been complimented with real time data from remotely sensed sources that delivers unrivalled granularity, discrimination and fidelity.

Together with the skill, experience and expertise of our people, we have an enviable 30 year track record of providing trusted weather insights to UK businesses.

We were Insurance Times ‘Service Provider of the Year’ in 2008 and 2022 and won Claims Initiative of the Year at the National Insurance Awards in 2023.

Our operations centre is based in Bournemouth and we are only a 10 minute walk from the UK’s best beach!
